Las Fallon looks looks at the involvement of firemen in planning and carrying out the attack on the Custom House in 1921. Their involvement included helping to plan the fire, helping to burn the building, smuggling out trapped IRA men and recovering abandoned arms from the building. Not quite the normal sort of activity you associate with firefighters.
